Attention Australian backers: 

Heroes of Barcadia is OFFICIALLY shipping to your homes. It may even be at some of your homes as we speak, since you all *technically* live in the future. We can’t wait to see your Barcadian adventures; post photos of your games and let us know where you’re playing from and tag us @Rollacrit and #HeroesOfBarcadia.

We know the rest of you are thirsty for a shipping update and we’ve got one! And it looks a lot like the last one:

Asia - Asia is still waiting on their coins to make it through customs and arrive at the Asian distributor’s warehouse for shipping. We will have an updated shipping estimate for you once they have cleared customs but we believe we’re on track to ship in Asia in mid-October.

UK - Still on track for mid-October.

EU - Your games are still on schedule for mid to late-October shipping.

North America - The final shipping container with the add-ons is in the U.S. and on its way to the warehouse. They’ll be packaged up with your games and should ship early November.

We’re excited that our first wave of shipments are being delivered and we can’t wait until all of our backers get their games. Stay tuned for more shipping news as it progresses.

It’s a Digital Getdown!

Greetings Adventurers!

Your eyes are not deceiving you; three more items have moved to “completed” on the chart of progress! The digital version of Heroes of Barcadia for Roll20, STL files for all eight characters, and the translated rulebooks will be available on Thursday, October 13.

Heroes of Barcadia on Roll20

If your Kickstarter pledge included a Roll20 key for Heroes of Barcadia (Champion of Barcadia, Party Hard in Barcadia, Lord of Barcadia, and King of Barcadia pledge tiers) or you added it in the pledge manager, you will be receiving an email from BackerKit with your redemption code for the Kickstarter Edition of Heroes of Barcadia for Roll20. This version includes all of the Kickstarter-exclusive stretch goals from the campaign.

This code can be redeemed at https://marketplace.roll20.net/coupon/ after you login to your Roll20 account. If you do not have a Roll20 account, you can create one for free here: https://app.roll20.net/create-account?origin=Landing

If your current pledge manager purchase does not include a Roll20 key or you preordered after the campaign ended, you can purchase a copy of the Retail Edition of Heroes of Barcadia on the Roll20 Marketplace beginning Thursday, October 13. The Retail Edition does NOT include the Kickstarter exclusives.

As your digital adventures kick off, don’t forget to share screenshots or video of your games and tag us on social @Rollacrit with the hashtag #HeroesOfBarcadia. And let us know where you’re playing from!

STL files

Kickstarter backers will also receive an email from BackerKit containing a link to download the STL files for all eight Heroes of Barcadia characters. Given the file size, you will receive two emails, make sure you open and download both to complete your set. These digital files can be 3D printed and customized by you, to bring your game to life!

The STL files will be available for purchase on our website Thursday, October 13.

Once you start printing and customizing your Heroes, post pictures and tag us on social @Rollacrit with the hashtag #HeroesOfBarcadia!

Rulebook Translations

During the campaign, we unlocked seven different languages to translate our rulebook: Spanish, German, Italian, French, Dutch, Swedish, and Danish. These are now available to download directly from our website: https://www.rollacrit.com/pages/heroes-of-barcadia

Preorders

If you’re thinking about ordering additional copies of Heroes of Barcadia or even your first copy, get those orders in soon because preorders will end on Monday, October 31. This will also be your last chance to get the game and add-ons at the current preorder price.

Shipping Updates

Greetings, Barcadians! 

We have minor delays in Australia and Asia distribution to report and some good news for Wave Two shipping in North America. Keep reading for details about when you can expect to receive your game.

Wave One Shipping

Australia - Your games have arrived, cleared customs, and are with the distributors for shipping. The last thing we are waiting on is the Coin of Conflict Resolution and Coin of Magic Pourtals to arrive at the distributor’s warehouse. Once the coins are in and added to their orders, your games will begin shipping. We estimate shipping beginning next week for Australia.

Asia - Asia is also waiting on their Coins to make it through customs and arrive at the Asian distributor’s warehouse for shipping. We will have an updated shipping estimate for you once they have cleared customs but we believe we’re on track to ship in Asia in mid-October.

UK - Your games and add ons are making their way through customs and once they have cleared, they will be delivered to our UK distributor for shipping. Our initial estimates of early to mid-October are still on track.

EU - The EU boats have landed and are offloading to go through customs. These games are still scheduled for mid to late-October shipping.

North America - We have received all of the games for North America but are still waiting on the shipping container with your add-ons; it is scheduled to arrive in mid-October. North America still on track to begin shipping in late-October to early-November

Wave Two Shipping

Are you in North America, preordered Heroes of Barcadia after the Kickstarter campaign ended, and your credit card has NOT been charged yet?

If you answered yes to all those questions, we have good news for you: Your games could ship with Wave One!

All you need to do is make sure your payment information is current by October 6, so there is no delay in collecting payment, and your orders will ship with Wave One in late-October to early-November.

Address Changes

As we get into shipping, our distribution partners will send you an email to confirm your shipping address before shipping begins. We will also send an update when these emails begin to go out. That will be your last call to make sure your shipping information is accurate.

Boats on the Water, Games in Warehouses

Hello Barcadians! 

We’re really excited to bring you some updated information regarding shipping statuses for the project! We’ve been getting a lot of questions, from Backers all around the world, about when to expect the game to arrive.

As we’ve mentioned in many previous updates, a lot of this is a moving target, and will continue to be one. We’ve decided to break down this shipping update around the different hubs and fulfillment centers we’re using to launch this around the world, as the containers are in many different stages depending on where you live. At this point we are at the mercy of the ships, ports, country’s customs and inspections, fulfillment warehouse, and local shipments. Hopefully this helps to clarify a lot for you!

Shipping Hub Updates

Australia and Asia: Australian and Asian fulfillment hubs have received all games and add-ons and are almost ready to ship out to our backers. Your games should begin to receive tracking information in 2 to 3 weeks!!!!

United Kingdom: As of this posting, the boats headed to the UK will have already landed and begun the offloading process and working through customs! After clearing customs, the shipments will be delivered to our UK fulfillment hubs, where they will be sorted and prepared for shipping to backers. We estimate your games should be shipping to you in early/mid-October.

European Union: The EU boats should be landing early next week and will begin their offloading process and going through customs. After clearing customs, the shipments will be delivered to the EU fulfillment hub for sorting and prepped for shipping. We estimate your games shipping to you in mid/late October.

North America: Did you know our U.S. and Canadian backers make up 66% of our shipments? It’s true! And because of this, our North American shipment is so large, it was split between two ships. The first boat, Pinocchio, landed last week. The second ship, GSL TEGEA (unfortunately not known as “Gepetto”), should be arriving soon. You’re now on track to receive that shipment in late October/early November.

We’re in daily contact with our shipping company to give you updates on where everything is and how shipping is/will be progressing. Keep an eye here and on our website, Rollacrit.com , for updates as new info is available.

What if I need to change my address?

If you need to change your address, or just want to check on it for fun, you can do so by visiting: https://www.backerkit.com/backer_accounts/profile/settings

What if I’m not a Kickstarter backer but I preordered on BackerKit?

Heroes of Barcadia will ship in two waves:

• Wave 1 - Kickstarter backers and BackerKit preorders that have been charged
  
• Wave 2 - BackerKit preorders that have not been charged; Kickstarter backers that still haven’t completed their backer survey; Kickstarter backers that have not resolved payment issues.
  

If you’re in Wave 2, your game is on track to ship in early to mid-November…but only if you complete that backer survey and update your payment information!

Roll20 Version

We are in the final stages of editing and polishing our Roll20 Version of HoB. If your pledge included a Roll20 key for the Kickstarter Edition of Heroes of Barcadia, we’ll be sending those out in mid-October.

If you didn’t get a Roll20 key during the campaign but are interested in adding one, you will be able to order the Heroes of Barcadia Retail Edition, without the unlocked Kickstarter additions, in mid-October.

STL Files

We are test printing the STL files with various 3D printing companies to ensure consistency and quality. All Kickstarter backers will be receiving the STL files in mid-October and will be able to bring their characters to life in 3D printed form.

We’ll also try to provide information on vendors that can help you with printing if you don’t have access to your own 3D printer. Stay tuned for more details as they become available.

Greetings Adventurers!

We’re back from our excursion to the land of Hoosiers (aka the city of Indianapolis) where we were part of the Best Four Days of Gaming at Gen Con.

The fans who were lucky enough to go to the show got to have a sneak peak at the REAL DEAL versions of the game that will be shipping out in a just a few short weeks. But before we get to show of some of the fun we had...

Update Emporium

While we were traveling from all corners of the United States to get to Indianapolis, the final boat hit the water, bound for the sandy eastern shores of the United States. Not only have all of our glorious games and add-ons started their voyage, but some of them are already embarking our their first test of heroic fortitude... against the dreaded Customs Agent! (dun dun duuuuuun)

If you currently have you address set as a PO Box, you MUST update your address for your items to be delivered. If you do not update your address, we will not be able to deliver your items to you.

As we said before, we teamed up with our Heralds once more to run some adventurers through the twisting dungeons of Barcadia, and what an awesome site it was to see!

It was great getting to see you stopping by the Gen Con booth and telling us about your excitement and enthusiasm for the game to come out! 

Sir Drankalot also made a surprise appearance at the demo hall, cheering on his favorite hero of all time, Himself!
